The electronic ID system eObčanka, which allows digital communication with the state institutions, has security flaws. User login is not sufficiently protected, so an attacker can steal an identity without the citizen being able to recognise it. 
Cyber security experts from Auxilium Cyber Security and WardenSec have warned of the danger. The prerequisite for identity theft is the spread of a simple computer virus, which these experts presented at the QuBIT Prague 2020 conference.
